I was wondering the same. Cutting down the motor to 2/3 would with
current props mean a shorter motor, thus a shorter motor stick, and
therefore a more forward CG. How to adapt that then; a flatter airfoil
tail or maybe one with smaller area? If, on the other hand, one wants to
keep the CG at its current location, one would need to use a thinner
motor (and smaller, lighter prop), or put a spacer in front of the
motor, or use some ballast at the aft of the model (like Aki-san does in
his F1M models)

But the big question, IMO, is if it is possible to make an efficient
model layout with a more forward CG?
