Nylon and silicon?

Greetings.
Does anyone know if there would be any long term consequences with Silicon (i.e. Sil-Slick from FAI) and nylon screws? I am curious if it could be used as a lubricant.
I'm pretty sure petroleum-based products (sewing machine oil/Vaseline) would not work well - Am thinking it would swell.
