 You don't need to lock the spar to the polyimide tube with CA. If you do, it is very hard to unset for future repairs or adjustments. Although Duco/Ambroid does not stick well to polyimide, these glues stick well to hardened CA. So, just coat the end of the polyimide tube with a thin coat of thin CA. Then, use a drop of Duco/Ambroid to set the spar in the tube. I do this for all of my planes from LPP to F1D and I have yet to have such a glue joint failure .
