The effort hardly pays. I learned of polyamide tubing from Mike. I use .050 ID tube, which weighs next to nothing and is stronger than whatever you're using for your spars. Mine are usually bass, sized for a tight fit in the tube. When you get the angle set where it needs to be, just touch it with a drop of CA.
