Just for reference, a 1/2 inch long piece of .050 tube, which makes a rough, tough, A-6 hub with big muscles, weighs 8mg. It's likely that a smaller one would do the job just as well. In addition, it holds the propshaft in position like balsa can't, unless you load the balsa up with CA to harden it.
 

 As for 400mg models, I'm just happy as a clam that I'm finally turning out sub-200 A-6 props.
