Tom this is exactly the kind of information that we should be fostering on
our Indoor Email Discussion. Thank you for your input.
I am living breathing evidence of the positive influence that an applied
science education has on a young mind. Science Olympiad was a launching
point for me to dive deeper into the world of Indoor. I was lucky to be in
Cleveland with all the Clowns to support me, but I feel that there are
enough older members of the community spread out across the country to make
a program like this work. There are also a number of mature youngsters
around, such as myself, Doug, Steven Richman, and others who could act as
"TAs" or intermediate teachers to take some of the burden off of the elders.
