Uh, there IS no limit on stab chord in the rules for BLG this year. Heck, you can build a bi-plane for BLG if you wish, haven't seen any, but its not forbidden.

WS does have a stab chord this year for the first time.

In the past, good WS planes by the top flyers had very large stab chords (almost square stabs) and very long tail booms to get appropriate aerodynamic moments.
