The fairing is pretty stiff. It's very difficult to make one that is straight and consistent across the whole wing span. The one I did was my first and only try. Probably there is a way to do it better.

Bill, that makes sense, but wouldn't the fairing bend up and disrupt the airflow over top of the wing?
