Back when I could get Super Seam without having to pay ridiculous hazmat prices that was all that I used to build my models. Then I tried Ambroid and Duco but wasn't really happy with the results. They shrank even when plasticizers were used. About a year ago I tried good old fashioned Testors balsa cement again for the first time in 35 years. Bingo! It adheres well, is quick drying, is slightly flexible, is light and doesn't warp the structure as much as Ambroid or Duco.

For what it is worth,

Jerry
