Ever since I started building indoor models I have used CA to build my
frames. I'm not saying that anyone else should do this (or anything
else I do) - just that it works for me.

All I've ever used for an applicator is a piece of scrap wire a few
inches long. Anything from .015 to .020 works great. I dip the end of
the wire in a puddle of CA and then hold the wire vertically so the CA
runs down to the bottom. Touch the end of the wire to the joint and
you get a drop of CA on the joint that is small enough that it is
difficult to see. When hardened CA begins to accumulate on the wire I
just snip off the end of the wire with wire cutters.
