I think Jim Richmond used to spirol wrap some motorsticks with Kevlar to
stiffen/strenghten in torsion.
Is simple. Only 1 direction (CW) at 45 deg. With tie to bearing & hook, it
requires almost no glue.
The 45 deg gives a spacing (pitch) equal to sheet width. Can run 2 or more
strands.
I used Spectra wrap which doesn't glue well, but ties OK. Worked fine.
