That's the easy bit! When the tissue is wet and flat on the glass, I
place my mandrel/former on top and along one straight edge with about
1/8" of the edge of tissue peeking out towards me. Then, with a fine
warcolour brush inserted under the tissue edge, I lift it up
and 'stick it' to the mandrel - as it's wet, it sticks well. Working
from the centre, I move out to each end using the brush to lift the
tissue and put it in place - any small wrinkles can be adjusted with
light finger pressure. When the whole edge is is place, I roll the
mandrel 1 or two turns before introducing the blank.
