Chris and I battled it out last weekend at Chamblee HS while
"mentoring" their Wright Stuff team. I posted a pic of Chris' new
Unlimited circling in the girders and one of my beat up Big Poker
resting. The competition was pretty fierce. Chris eventually did
another 47 second flight which now means he's done 47's with two
totally different gliders. I got 41+ with my big glider in HLG and
UCLG and almost 40 in SCLG. My Standard was really launching well with
many trips to the very top of the available space and transitions with
almost 0 altitude loss. The glide never was quite up to snuff to get
into record territory. The Standard, which weighs about 1.5g, would
easily bonk the girders with a little too much pull, so I guess the
next step is to further reduce the weight.
