I'm guessing that if you were to set a world record they'd probably charge the $125 for national record and $360 for the world record? Shelling out $485 doesn't sound very appealing.
The other crazy thing to me is that per Tony's email, you would have to do a full blown dossier for national records. Money aside, filling out and printing off all that stuff, providing all the documentation is a substantial time commitment.
This is pretty disappointing.
