There is another solution that avoids the need for high humidity; however, it isn't cheap. When vinyl records were popular, a thing called Zerostat 3 was produced in England. I have one and it is great for dissipating static electricity on objects.
 I checked online and they are still available for $65 -$72 plus shipping. They work on a piezo-electric principle and fire ions at the object.
 Jake's plywood solution sounds very good and is the cheapest for those unwilling to wait half a day for natural dissipation. How about a photo, Jake?
