We use Gurit M80 composite foam where I work, and we're getting ready to
scrap a lot material that's too small for use in our products. Most of the
pieces are 4"-6" wide and 4"-6" long. It's all 5/8" thick. This foam
isn't quite as good from a specification standpoint as Rohacell, but I've
successfully made and used composite screw blocks with it in the past. For
those that are curious I've attached a data sheet.
Anyone that's interested in getting some of this foam should contact me
ASAP. I'll send it to anyone that's interested for just the cost of
shipping. I've only got 24 hours to take what I want before the rest is
scrapped, so contact me immediately if you want some. Even if you aren't
ready to build a composite VP hub right now, it's not a bad idea to get
this foam now because you can't beat the price.
