 Since the USA rulebook refers to the FAI rulebook for F1D, I interpret this to also mean that all USA F1D team selection participants or any F1D flyer will now have to buy a FAI license to fly F1D at any indoor meet in the USA. Having this number on the model will be a check that has to be done each flight like wingspan, weight, etc. That may have some effect on USA participation.
