For what it is worth:

My son is ten. He came to WB with me and he had a blast flying his "Denny Dart Mk II H", plans and build tutorial on EndlessLift.com. Eventually he broke his and pulled out mine instead and flew it the rest of the weekend. Yesterday he flew 88 flights. Dozens of these flights were passed to other kids around his age to fly. Maybe unwittingly he was our ambassador to the youngsters. I must have given out that website to a dozen adults, talking for hours over both days to dozens of hotel guests. People liked the F1Ds, but his bright yellow plane zipping up and occasionally hitting the actual roof above the trusses was what people really noticed. Off the floor we had dozens of comments from people, all positive. "We liked your plane." "Your son is really good with that plane!" "I used to build planes when I was about your age, but they never flew that well!"

I tried to interest him in flying my Mashup, thinking it was a logical next step. His comment: It isn't as impressive to the kids. He liked flying the DD MkII H better. Maybe he is on to something. Maybe that is the secret. P18's for the adults or teens, but these for the 6-12 age range.

Regards.
