Approaching the new rules from a design standpoint

I'm thinking 0.015" wood for the motor stick, 0.011 for the stub. I'd experiment with 7-7.5" motor sticks and extend the stub to maybe 7-8" keeping the overall length the same.
 

 A slightly thinner rubber cross section, slightly smaller prop. A 9" loop might become 6.3-6.5".
 18" prop with maybe The M89 blade shape in carbon. Undecided on pitch. VD May become practical from a weight aspect.
 

 I'll still experiment with tip plates, but expand out to more elliptical shapes too.
 Carbon wing posts become practical. Maybe carbon capped spars too.
