Occam's Razor. It's the simplest explanation, and to be frank it's the only one that makes sense to me. Until we have some transparency on what took place it's what I believe to be true and I'm not the only one.
The only reason we found out about the proposal before the vote is because someone found it on a CIAM document posted online. If not for that, we would have been completely blindsided. Why the secrecy? Why was nobody from the indoor community solicited for input?
While all of this was apparently done "by the book", it certainly violated the spirit of the event and calls into question the governing body of F1D.
