For me, After West Baden I need to build new parts. The rules change makes building new parts for the old rules kind of pointless though.
In other words, I don't think I will make either Kent or Pontiac or Kibbie now.
Instead I will regroup and think about what the new rules allow me to achieve.
Then build new planes around those rules for next fall.
Pretty disappointed in the way the vote went to be honest. Anyone can build a 1.4 gram F1D, especially with such a short motor stick. Only good thing- I can get two motor sticks out of one sheet! Although I have no idea what I will do with the 0.013" now as I'll go thicker to handle the extreme high torque we'll be launching at now.
