I was wrong.
A modeler was kind enough to PM me and teach me how to calibrate the scale. (Thanks!!)
Yes, the scale does have a calibrating function.
But, there is another big issue. The Power On/Off switch is going wrong even though I have used it only several times.
$20 is still $20.
