Maybe the Hungarians should stop flying F1D and instead organize a F1L
word champs then they can have models that have short duration flights
compared to F1D, easy to take on a plane etc. When I started flying
indoor F1D was the pinnacle event. 65cm and 1 grams required lots of
work, 55cm, 1.2 gram model, and 0.6 gram rubber to me was starting to
water the event down but I understood the reasoning. Going to 1.4gram
and 0.4 rubber is making the event a shadow of what the event use to be.
Why not just limit people to 1000 turns at launch instead. I just do not
understand the desire to dilute F1D further. What have a race car when
all you can do is drive up and down your driveway with it?
