Interesting comments so far, but let me throw in one idea (not original,
but I have heard that e.g. the French use this in their Nats): when
competing in a low ceiling site, use (mandatory) partial motors! I think
this could be applied even in championships level; a consideration would
be needed if the number of flights should then be increased (most
likely), and if also more than 2 flights should be then calculated into
the results (maybe).
