 As someone who enjoys competing in almost everything and building almost everything, it would not decrease my enjoyment if I sourced some components of my model. There are multiple reasons that I might want to do this: time, effort, search for better components, promote knowledge and technology sharing. It would increase my enjoyment that I used other people's components in competition.
 

 We have different opinions, and I respect that building one's own model is a very important aspect of Indoor Flying. I don't want to disrespect that by advocating no BOM rule at all. I think BOSOM is a reasonable alternative.
