Joking aside, I'd also love to get some suggestions for the torchlight
required/sufficient for flying in the salt mine... There is a number of
relatively cheap lamps using Cree LM T6 LED lamp, these give out up to
1000 lumens, and in a comparison to car headlights, the light spot is
about as bright as one from H4 car light, but the beam is narrower (
e.g.

). Then, if that does not suffice, there are lamps with 3 or even 5 of
such elements, raising the lighting power to 2500 or even 4000 lumens.
But, how much is enough?
