Adhesive for carbon

I have tested the adhesive between balsa and carbon tubes. According to my tests duco or ambroid do not give adequate joint strenght. Also tested epoxy diluted with ethyl alcohol but weight of joint is significantly more than cellulose cement. Any advice?
