Back in the day when I built a 65cm F1D, I recall there being two methods of bracing.
1) Slice the spar slightly and use the slice to hold the wire.
2) Glue on a bit of say 1/32" square and use that to hold the wire.
I seem to recall using #2 as I had failures when I went the spar slicing method.
Given that these stand proud, is there any issue when steering?
Do they tend to catch on the foam or are they small enough to not make a difference?
Regards.
