Fortunately, Indoorists aren't those shady Outdoor types. We are all gentlemen and ladies. I'm sure the only reason that a few people are using purchased hubs in competition is because we haven't yet clarified their standing on the BOM continuum. Once we do that, we'll all abide by the rules. We are tight knit group anyway - we'll know if you didn't build your own hub, and you don't want to be known as "that guy"

Or, better yet, just sticking with the intent of the BOM rule.

There is no reason for any retro-active punishment, either. We'll just get a ruling and use it going forward.

People who have purchased one of Treger's excellent hubs will have an in-hand model for their own work. I have a set of VP hubs that others have built. I would never use them in competition, but I like having them.
