I would add: reasonable proximity to a major airport. That was one of the
downsides of ETSU.

A site in the heartland (NE, KS, southern IL) would be within driving
distance of the entire country. Otherwise I would like to see to east/west
rotation. Indoor has been pretty dead here in the West partly because of the
Nats being held so far away for so long.

Speaking for myself, these are the important factors

1. Site: floor space, height, good air
2. Location: reachable in one-day drive by large part of population
3. 3-5 Days availability

All three are very important.

Parking, hotel, restaurants are minor issues.
