Re: All good things...

I like Don's idea of alternating locations. The issue with alternating
sites seems to be keeping the sites during the off years. Perhaps we could
use contests that are already established to host USIC so for a particular
year one site would be the USIC host and then the next year the site would
host its normal contest.

The time of year matters. Having USIC the last week of May means that no
one can pull their kids out of school right before end of the school year.
This affected the junior team last year and has affected others in the
past. Perhaps moving the contest to the middle of June would allow for more
junior participation.

It would be great to have the contest somewhere people's families would
like to go. Its not easy to sell using half a year's worth of vacation time
for something only one person wants to do. I know most of the current
participants have found ways to do this obviously, but it may help recruit
new comers. "Come fly for a few days and take your wife to ..."

Last but not least it needs to be a good site, Cat III or Cat IV with
little drift. I don't foresee many people traveling across the country to
fly in a mediocre site.

Just my thoughts,

Nick
