Aki,

The rules for applying for and organizing a world championship are in the FAI Sporting Code: Section 4 (I would provide a link but sometimes my browser has trouble with the FAI site and today is one of those days).

In general, one needs to start an application at least two years before the year desired (next available for Indoor in 2016). The bid must include such details as:

venue and site details
planned accommodation and ccatering details
transportation details both to country and to site

A group of volunteers (timers, etc.) is needed but most recent organizers have been able to obtain and train the necessary people, many who have no prior involvement with indoor flying.

Many of us would very, very much like to see the Indoor WC take place in Japan again. I was hoping for 2014 but, perhaps, 2016?

Leo
