Re: Super Sport rubber for F1D?

I have flown lots of SS on my F1D (it's all I have)
The boys have some donated 2/99, a very small amount of donated 5/99, a bit of 3/02 left and some 10/97. I have some 6/09, 9/09, 11/09, 1/10, and 7/10. I have recently ordered some of the current batches but haven't go them yet. My favorite of what I have is the 7/10. The torque curve is the closest to the older batches of rubber in my opinion. It also tends to run about the same in thickness, my batch is about .042 - .043. Some of the 09 stuff is in the .047 range.
I would say that the second best that I have would be the 9/09. It has much higher initial torque however.
No matter which one you fly, you really can't use any of the data from the older batches to go by. The spring time and pitch adjustments aren't even close. While deciding what the boys will fly in Belgrade, we switched between batches and it was like starting all over.
