I have not tested every recent batch of SS, but have heard from fellow
F1B fliers that all batches since 2011 have been consistent in quality
(energy return); so they should be less that 10% down from 99-5. Also
F1B fliers are moving from Tan II to SS, as the latter does not explode,
which would be a bad thing in a flyoff where you need to wind the motor,
pick the air and make the flight in a 10-minute time window... With
motors that do not explode it is all much easier. So one might conclude
that Super Sport motors would not explode in indoor use either?
