That is exactly correct. That is why I'm so glad that LeRoy posted his
question and I kept all of the replies.

I can't tell you how many times the exact same scenario you describe has
happened to me. Not only that, it will also allow me to have more than one
combination of fuse and wing setup, therefore allowing me time to experiment
and find the right combination for longer flights, without having to carry a
large number of boxes to the flying site.

Excellent way to attach wings!!

I can tell you why I do it - It is better to swap out a damaged part than
try field repairs. Flying time is precious. Repair time is not.
And inevitably if I show up with one model, it ends up broken.
