Bill,
Group not merely renamed, because Don S's old Yahoo Group was in fact shut down, and I started from scratch with the exception of having access to the original members' addresses (as any member would also have access.) But with Don S's blessing, I personally invited every original (Ind_Const) member to join upon the then impending closing of Don's Yahoo Indoor. I kinda forget exactly how the rules arguments played a part, but my original trigger was when a member taunted us with RC glider references, and DS was already burned out at that point.
As for what to try to change now, I'll wait a couple days for others to weigh in if they wish. I'm open about it, and can go either way--more strict, more liberal, or stay the course. (But I wonder if anyone realizes what they are saying in suggesting, "no rules discussion." How to enforce that, and where else ya gonna talk with as many indoor adults in the room?)
Thanks,
MB
