OK, but please notice you should not begin to apply any adhesive while the film is drum tight. The drum tightness is only one stage (I use, but not really necessary) in order to get out as many wrinkles as you have time for. After the "drum" stage, you introduce progressive amounts of slackness--CAMBER into the film in order to match your wing or tail. The goal is to not stress the spars or ribs at all with tension from the plastic, but to get the plastic to merely match the desired wing shape.

(BTW, Stan Chilton, if I recall correctly, does this with a fully carved styrofoam wing FORM that his wing outline sits down *into,* including recesses for ribs, then he spreads film over a now solid wing, right side up. Now *that* turns out masterfully.)

  At times, with a strong enough structure, very slight plastic tension won't hurt you, but not recommended for now. You can get it just as pretty without any tension from the plastic. Consider also in the tips region that you will have automatic slack to deal with after you put in dihedral.
