I was going to suggest the veggie bags also.

Now I’ll just read and wait.

I think everyone knows where I stand on the A-6 covering issue, so hopefully
these points will wrap up my position.

It IS possible to build a 1.2g A-6 using condenser paper for covering. For
people who think that paper is easier or more desirable or more beautiful or
more easily obtained there is nothing that would prevent them from using it.

Nobody's A-6 would be made illegal by allowing Mylar covering. And there is
nothing in this proposal that would make it more likely for me to beat Gary
or Tem or Emil. I think their models are superior to anything flown by
anyone else anywhere and the type of covering allowed is not going to change
that.

My most recent A-6 was built with balsa in the 4.2 pcf range and covered
with LIGHT condenser paper (yes there are different grades of condenser
paper). It is a little over 1.2 grams. If the intent is to make it possible
for an outdoor F/F person or an R/C modeler to build a decent A-6, then are
we to expect that these people will have the above materials in their store
room? I don't know ANY place to get light condenser paper anymore. The
little bit I have left was acquired mostly by luck. But I can buy Mylar from
any number of different places. Or I could use veggie bags from the grocery
store which are about the same weight as light condenser paper - IF doing so
was legal.

The way I look at the issue there is no downside to allowing a choice of
covering material.
