At one of the last WC's pilot's meetings they said that steering by pushing on the side of the tailboom was allowed, as long as you didn't push on the rear of the wing. Touching the front of the stab was OK.

At first I didn't like this (not that it really matters how I feel about it) because it was not how we had interpreted it in the US. However, the more I thought about it, the more it made sense.

At the very least, it is nice to be able to steer the model without bumping the VP prop and changing its pitch.
