Steering

Dear All,

A problem was noted on 2009 EC (certainly even before) - steering models with A N G L E D sticks. The aim of steering is well defined - to avoid collision with structure or another model, but never to TRIM the model, especially at the beginning of the flight, when max. torque is making also tendency of stalling.

To everybody, with the least knowledge of physics, would be clear that applying angled stick at the horizontal stabilizer LE would reduce Angle of attack, thus preventing stall in the mentioned situation, i.e. T R I M M I N G T H E M O D E L !!!!

Thus, my proposition is to addopt, at the beginning as "Local rule", prohibition of steering the model with the angled stick. The "vertical" stick position would be at eye sight, i.e. some 2 - 3 degrees out of verical (which is visible) would be allowed.

Best regards,
