I found one of those anti-static guns. They still make them, but they
are pricey. You pull the trigger and they put out a stream of ionized
air, hopefully with the polarity that will cause the dust to leave the
film.
They are expensive though. I don't know if this is new or if they were
always expensive.
Anyway, the thing is called a Zerostat. You can find them in high end
audio shops. They are used to clean records. Do you remember those
things?
