I have found in the past that if the film doesn't slacken off after 3 months, it probably never will. Try attaching thin strips of tape along 2 adjacent sides of the film and cut away from the main frame to allow the film to slacken. Leave for up to 2 months to adjust, then cover with the film not too tight. I have found that the film tightens on the wing/tail after covering if it had been tight on the frame, indicating that it shrinks when the tension is removed. Result; a very bad looking prop!
Any other views anyone?

Does anyone here have experience with Orsovai film from hungary? I pour
some seems strong and very glittering in colour. How long to age and
does it go slack on frame? How dry is it, high or low static?
