Quote from Gary<I have a wire V with hooks at the top of each leg. The base
of the V
goes in the torque meter hook and the hooks at the tops of the V legs engage
the prop spars.> endquote.

Here’s a coincidence. Last night I was looking in a box I used to use when
I went indoor flying and there was a ‘U’ shaped piece of wood. It took me a
while to remember that it was an adaptor to measure torque directly on the
aeroplane. This morning I looked on the mailing list and saw the above
quote!

My adaptor is ‘U’ shaped with square corners. The verticals of the ‘U’ are
pieces of 1/32 ply, 0.25 wide and 1.5 inches long. The base of the ‘U’ is
two pieces of 0.063 x 0.25 hard balsa. The verticals are sandwiched
between the ends of the base pieces. This gives a 1/32 wide slot between
the base pieces which is filled with 1/32 balsa to leave just enough of the
slot in the centre to push onto the torque meter hook.
