Alright.. so I flew a lot as a Jr. & Sr.... drop out of the hobby for
a while to concentrate on school and career...

I started my long journey back last night by going out to a local
flying site I heard about on this board.. and it happened.. I got the
bug! And of course I want to start building ASAP! Problem being, I
have divested myself of many of the tools of the trade over the years
and I need some sound advice and get pointed in the right direction.

Thankfully I held on to my winders (Wilder and one my Dad custom
made),
But, when my Dad passed, I bequethed a lot of the ancillary
accesories to fellow hobbiests my Dad had gotten addicted to the
sport. I figured I wasn't going to be using them anytime soon and by
the time I was ready.. technology would be better anyway.

So here are the things I am looking for.. looking for the Best of
Breed if possible... but if you know something to definately stay
away from that advice would be helpful too:

Rubber Stripper
Rubber
Torque Meter (commercially available.. time building torque meters is
time I am not re-learning building and flying toy airplanes
Film Supplier(mylar?)
Wood Supplier

I will probably have tons of questions as I get going, but I need to
get a few airplanes built to figure out what I don't know/have.
Thanks in advance!

Dave Lindley

PS.. It was pointed out to me last night that I should note on the
board that I am Don Lindley's son.. a point I had previously avoided
for several reasons:
1. Guilt by association
2. Generally, dropping his name only provoked MORE questions from the
police.
3. He was always a little jealous of me.. I was the one child that
looked more like my mother.. that and I consistently beat his times
in Autogiro
4. If you knew my Dad.. you can imagine my embarrassment
