Don

I have tested that rubber when it was fresh and again a couple of years ago and the numbers did not change very much, but it seemed to be a little tougher. The original tests broke a lot of motors and my flying experience were also bad with breakage. I will probably start using mine in larger size motors on things like PP and f1m as it takes a lot of turns but does not have a real high breaking torque. If you drop your max.winding torque 10 to 15 % you should get safe winds.

I've recently acquired some 2/99. I know it is a good batch, but I've never
flown with it. As I understand it is not quite as good as the best 5/99, but
in the same league as 7/97 and 3/02.

How is this stuff holding up to the aging process? I want to know whether to
use it as soon as possible or take my time.

  Thx

  DD
