I got some 1/4" backing rod from Tim, and inlaid a piece of high test
fishing line as in Derek's article... Used it at USIC, and it worked
great... only problem was that I left the backer length too long, and
had to shorten it... I made the slitter like in his article, and used
Goop in the slit to secure the line...
