In answer to your question The british team used it in Bordeaux (I
think, I've been to bed since then). The only problem was that one
of us had some covering damage that may have been attributed to
excess glue (?).
Otherwise I have had no problems....

My next step is to run some strong line through a hypo needle used
as a resevoir for the glue to try and limit the glue excess on the
outside of the backer....

I am using a line that is very small diameter but strong (40lb)

I have a load of backer and a vague inkling to do some thing with it
all.

It was quite amusing at Bordeaux when some one had some backer
break...
