Guys , in no way was I complaining that I'd didn't have a chance in
winning anything at the USIC. On the contrary I went to learn
something from the pros,AND I DID! Everyone that I spoke to was more
than willing to share what they knew and answer questions. I knew that
my models were not competitve, so I don't feel I was a sore looser.I
feel I will come back next year and maybe put up some better flights
than this year. And I'm well aware that suitable wood is easily
available ,of which I am accumulating. The reason I reponded to the A-
6 discussion was it just seemed that when I approached the thought of
building an A-6, the rules seemed simple enough for the average guy
with average building skills could build something that you might be
able to compete with, of which I did. I did not expect to win, just
fly, and I had fun doing it!I apologize if I offended anyone about
with my comments.
