I really enjoyed reading the Nats News with John Kagan's fine reportage. And
let's give a round of applause to Jane and Dave Schurr for their excellent
color photography that was indeed the frosting on the coverage cake.

Noticeably missing to those of us primarily interested in the scale
competition were the names of the models entered. There was the heading,
"Aircraft," but none were listed.

I was glad to see the good turnout of contestants. I wish we'd had half that
number at Buffalo, where a really disappointing 18 fliers showed up to fly.
