Hi,
I have about a half dozen of Stan Stoy's folders.
I worked with and still talk with Stan's father. I
also have a video of Stan throwing the plane and
having the model unfold in slow motion. This was
filmed in Japan which had a pretty high ceiling. The
video states he turned 93 seconds with the model at
the event. I have taken a few of his planes and
thrown them myself. They work very nice and are
pretty easy to throw. I believe even I can get them
up to about 90 ft.
I know Stan flew with the Chicago Aeronuts and
that they flew in the Armory in Chicago. My best guess
is that is where the Midwestern State Champs was held.
When I talk with his father I will ask him about this.

For indoor, folders are not allowed but I do not
believe there is currently anything in the rule book
that does not allow folders for outdoor HLG. If I can
find the time I will have one at the outdoor NATS this
year.
